Specification:

This charming hut is located above Gsteig at 1700 meters and offers breathtaking views of Gstaad and the Saanenland. It was built in 1786 and like many others, was home to the farmers in the summer when the cows are brought up to pasture. Unfortunately, there are very few of them left and it is most difficult to acquire them as they are either derelict or still used by the farmers. So out of respect for this beautiful tradition, the Walig hut underwent only a mild renovation and its simplicity has been maintained.

Stay one night (max 4 people) at the Walig hut, including transfer, a 3 course dinner (starter, simple main course, desert), coffee, Swiss wine & mineral water and breakfast. In the afternoon you visit Walo Perreten to see how is producing the original Alpine cheese. As a present you will receive 1.0 kg of original "Alpine cheese" which is produced for the Gstaad Palace.
